I can’t help but think that all of those moments came as a result we made back in 1994 to move here, to the farm:

Our choice to be obedient to God has given us such a beautiful legacy of love, life and family.  Living on the farm was not an easy thing when the snow piled feet into the air and we would sometimes have to plow several times a day. When the twins were born we’d just leave our Toyota van at the road and walk back or risk getting stuck somewhere on a road we couldn’t find. Seventeen hundred feet is a long road in the middle of winter.

Yet, God was faithful then and he continues to be faithful to His Word today.

I depend on that.

All our babies are grown now and our life looks a lot different.  Going back home to visit has only reminded me of how big God is in my life.

This beautifully silly young lady wouldn’t be here today if I had continued to choose my way over God’s way.  He was faithful to me when I thought I’d messed up my life and gotten pregnant. He carried me through that terribly painful time, took my tangled mess and turned it into a tapestry of His grace.

This is what HE does because He is love.

Simple.

Love.
